Comparing the Lexical Density of Spoken and Written News

چکیده
This paper is concerned with lexical density in spoken and written news on BBC News. The purpose of this study to investigate the found regarding Afghanistan Taliban conflict broadcasted by BBC. method applied was a qualitative method. data consist five taken from YouTube channel obtained website. results show that generally, average levels both tend be same, is, higher than 50%. Specifically, has an level 52.15% while 55.05%. Meanwhile, items which influence texts are nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs noun dominant.
